“Take Country Back” launches new print publication and CD sampler

Take Country Back began almost 5 years ago as a simple effort to help promote and support independent and traditional country music,  in addition to supporting and celebrating country music’s rich and varied legacy. From its simple beginnings, TCB has grown to include an online webcast and free weekly newsletter in addition to the latest news and hundreds of full length reviews and interviews.

TCB recently decided to expand its reach and began a quarterly print publication. The premiere issue which featured Austin based honky-tonker Dale Watson on the cover has been sold out. June’s issue will feature Heather Myles along with Moot Davis, Clay DuBose, The Skeeters, Billy Don Burns and more.

Beginning in September 2005, each issue will also include a bonus CD sampler. For information on advertising or being included on the sampler, contact laurie@takecountryback.com

As well as being distributed to a growing list of subscribers, complimentary copies of the publication/sampler will be distributed regularly to reporting and non-reporting Texas, Americana, Classic Country and Roots Music stations in an effort to help promote and support the continued growth or roots based country music.
